Description
Farm and factory tour
Walk through the tea fields while learning about natural farming methods and the farm’s history. Observe and understand the tea production process.
Practice with the tea farmer
Help with seasonal tasks such as weeding or tea leaf picking. Join artisans in producing Japanese black tea (wakōcha) or roasted tea (hōjicha), depending on the season.
Tasting session
Learn how to brew delicious tea directly from the farmer and enjoy freshly prepared tea.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 30% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event

Tawara Natural Farm uses natural farming methods to grow tea in an environment as close to nature as possible, without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The soil is fluffy, with deer droppings, holes dug by wild boars, and egg shells used as fertilizer.
